Are the thoughts that run through your head something like- Did I say the right thing? Did I forget something? Did I do this correctly? Why am I like this? Why can’t I do better? What if this awful thing happens? And then you start to pressure yourself. You start to create this cycle to improve and do better and do more. You can’t quite seem to say no to something, so your schedule is full and there’s no room to breathe. Things keep feeling heavier and heavier. And you can’t afford to break.
There’s nothing ‘wrong’ with you.
It’s simply part of the story you have formed about yourself.
The words you speak to yourself are so powerful. They can impact goals, mindset, attitudes, emotions, and functioning. The words you use also create the stories in your lives.
Stories are a vital part of who we are as a human race. We hear stories every day, whether through the news, a book, a friend, or the movies. Yet we also experience them ourselves. Our stories are what give us our unique perspective in life. There are many things that influence these stories, such as the things that happen to us personally, what people say to us, and the impact of the surrounding community. Occasionally, we need extra help in untangling the stories about ourselves. My goal is to be that help that allows you to organize the threads of your story.
Maybe it’s that you struggle paying attention in work or school. Maybe you feel a pressure to keep pushing and achieving to a higher degree. It can be so easy to question yourself each and every day. It may feel as if your brain works in overdrive to come up with situations that you struggle to rationalize before another one takes its place.
This is where I can step in. We all need some extra help to sometimes organize and unravel our messy journey. I’m here to help you navigate the overwhelming emotions and burdens you find you’ve picked up along the way.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019
